Hi Dreamers, The wait is over!

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning…. Okay, okay, I admit that was a bit dramatic, but BFW senior year was THREE years ago!!! Can you imagine?

A lot has happened since then. We have grown and evolved, and well on our way to cementing Neptune3 Studios as a household name for teen and YA stories across Africa.

You have also grown as well. We see all the TikTok mentions reminiscing on ‘the good old days’ with Best Friends In The World.

We have also seen your DMs and borderline threatening comments, asking us to bring back BFW. Well….

The Story in the Gap

Neptune3 Studios is proud to announce “Best Friends in the World: The Year Between” (I hope you are clapping and cheering where you are)

The Year Between is a feature-length film that is not just a sequel, but a revelation. It's not a series, and it's not about university... not yet. Rather, it's an invitation to ask yourself:

What happens after the convenience of proximity is yanked off? What happens when the group chat goes quiet? We are capturing the raw, unpolished genuineness of young adulthood, the daunting space that opens up when everyone starts to grow, move on, and meet new people.

We’re asking the questions we all face but rarely voice: How do you fill the space between who you were and who you're becoming? Is a friendship worth fighting for, or is it time to walk away?

The Puzzle Pieces

In The Year Between, we bring back familiar faces, but with a fun little twist; new characters are introduced, as is the case with young adults, growth means meeting new people and expanding your circle. The heart of the story is finally whole again.

We Don’t Just Serve; We Nourish

At Neptune3, we don’t just dish out content. We’ve spent this time ensuring that when we finally "serve," we feed you to your heart’s content.

For this film, we took our crew back to Uyo, where it all began, and we spent (I kid you not) 18-19-hour shoot days to make sure that we delivered a top-notch project.

So yes, BFW: The Year Between is coming to Neptune3 Studios YouTube!
